# Certificate and status report

> The documents your user gets once CAC approves the registration.

When a registration is `approved` it has a `registered_name` and CAC's seven-digit
`registration_number`, and two PDFs are ready (the `registration.certificate_ready` webhook says
so):

| Document | Endpoint |
| - | - |
| Certificate of registration | `GET /v1/registrations/{id}/certificate` |
| Status report (the business's details on CAC's register) | `GET /v1/registrations/{id}/status-report` |

```bash theme={null}
curl https://api.fastcac.com/v1/registrations/$REG_ID/certificate \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $FASTCAC_KEY" -o certificate.pdf
```

Both answer with `application/pdf` and a `Content-Disposition` file name. Before approval they
return `409`:

```json 409 theme={null}
{
  "error": {
    "type": "invalid_request_error",
    "code": "certificate_not_ready",
    "message": "The certificate is ready once the registration is approved.",
    "param": null,
    "request_id": "req_hKfgkWntwL2DcmbznqIvdEgY"
  }
}
```

Download them as often as you like; store a copy for your user.

In test mode both are one-page samples headed "SANDBOX - NOT A CAC DOCUMENT", with the registration's
name and number.
